Cardboard TV

My little boy and I decided to try and turn some of the unwanted packaging from our online Christmas shopping into something fun, so we made a cardboard television.

Cut from one side of an Amazon cardboard envelope we built our basic television shape, cutting out the screen and creating holes for the pencils. All you then need to do is cut the strips of paper to size, draw your ‘film’ and load it into the television by wrapping the strips around the pencils.

To see your drawn film come to life just rotate the pencils so the drawings are pulled across the screen. I want to draw up a pattern for our television so that it’ll be easy for people to download, print and make. Don’t forget the popcorn.
